This survey was done by the IAAP chapter themselves and graciously forwarded to Chadons.
In asking about presenter knowledge, relevence, easy to understand and so on, the range was typically 95-100% in the Agree/Strongly Agree columns with 75% being the Strongly Agrees.

Great article on Sales and Elephants. I read it all the way through and then sent it on, with two paragraphs of my own comments, to a network of web designers and developers I work with. It really resonates with my own experience of relationships with prospective clients in the last year that I've been doing web development for people.
More broadly, I think the theme of educating and enabling rather than selling resonates with the younger generation I'm a part of. We're very cynical about sales and marketing. We've grown up in an environment saturated with it. The last thing we want is someone spitting out sales clichés in our face.

Through recent networking opportunities I have had the pleasure to meet Terry Bass. Terry is the education coordinator to a vibrant business networking group in the city of Chicago that I have had the pleasure to frequent on several occasions.
On each of my visits I have been impressed with the detail and value of Terry’s educational teachings in the ways of networking, business leadership, and business motivation. I have seen many similar presentations but few that encompass the level of detail and strategy that Terry provides.
I find Terry to be a talented speaker, an insightful leader, and a genuinely charismatic business person.
